40-hour RBT training built specifically for Education Assistants, Teaching Assistants, and Special Education Assistants working in school settings — not clinics.
Every example, every scenario, every role-play is set in a school. You'll leave prepared to work in your actual job — not a hypothetical clinic.
Every Saturday, 8:00–9:30 AM PST. Miss a session? All live sessions are recorded.

Differential reinforcement role-play, extinction discussion, antecedent interventions for classrooms, crisis response planning.

Amanda has spent over two decades working directly in schools, as a teacher, and BCBA. She's worked with both public and independent schools and has trained hundreds of education paraprofessionals. She knows what TAs/EAs actually face in classrooms because she's been there.
When you have a question during this course, you'll be getting answers live and directly from Amanda.

Education Assistants (EAs), Teaching Assistants (TAs), Special Education Assistants (SEAs), paraprofessionals, and anyone pursuing RBT certification who works — or wants to work — in a school setting. This course is designed for school staff specifically, not clinic-based trainees.
In Ontario in July 2024, The BACB was replaced by the CPBAO who governs behavior professionals. However, this course is still valuable for Ontario-based education professionals: it provides genuine professional development, and skills that transfer directly to school settings. Ontario education staff are absolutely welcome, you'll just need to be aware of the certification pathway regulations in your province.
Becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) follows a clear pathway set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) under the 2026 requirements. Steps to RBT Certification:

All 6 live Saturday sessions are recorded. If you can't attend live, you'll have access to the recording within 24 hours. You won't miss out — you just watch on your own schedule.
You get 6 months of access to all asynchronous course materials on Thinkific. The live sessions run for 6 weeks (May 2 – June 6, 2026), and then you get an additional 2 months of direct support from Amanda for any questions that come up as you begin applying what you've learned.
Plan for approximately 5–7 hours per week: 3–5 hours of asynchronous content (video lessons, activities, readings) completed on your own schedule, plus one 90-minute live Saturday session. The course is designed for working professionals — you can do the async work in the evenings or spread it across the week.
We don't have first-cohort data yet (May 2026 is our first run!), but here's what we know: our curriculum allocates the most time to Module E (22 hours — 44% of the exam), we include a dedicated Exam Prep Module and mock review session, and we exceed the BACB's 5-hour ethics requirement. We've built this to give you the best possible shot at passing on your first attempt.
Join your May 2 cohort. 40 hours. 6 live sessions. 2 months of direct support from Amanda Broadway, BCBA, PhD.
